Home Support Services

When you return from hospital or find yourself in need of day to day assistance, contact COA to access our broad range of support services.

Home Support Services

Clients are assessed by the social work team at home or in hospital, to review clients' needs and arrange the most appropriate service for each individual. This can be in the form of:

  • Domestic assistance
  • Food preparation
  • Companionship and care relief
  • Personal care
  • Referral to Jewish and government agencies. Sometimes a government service is combined with a private assistance to ensure the comfort of our members.

We arrange private, reliable, experienced home support assistance to address member's needs, including regular follow up with COA social workers. We have an easy no-cost referral procedure and waiting time is minimal.

Liaison and Referral

COA social work team discuss concerns with members, liaise on their behalf with other services, provide advice, information and education, as well as formulate a plan of action to address these concerns.

Home Modification & Occupational Therapy

As part of our risk assessment social workers provide referrals to Occupational Therapist and Home Modification Services to minimise falls for members, maximise their safety, mobility and comfort at home.

  • Assess and modify home environment to improve independence and safety
  • Provide advice about suitable equipment, including installation and safe use
  • Identify risk factors for falls
